About Me Hi! I currently teach IB DP Visual Art, 2D Art & Ceramics Teacher in Tokyo, Japan. I am a passionate teacher who loves t, expose them to new mediums, teach them to think critically, analyze the artistic process, and learn by doing. I host several field trips yearly to see art exhibitions, fairs, or performances to expose students to the arts through real-world experiences. My own artwork has been exhibited internationally in the US, Germany, and China. My versatility as an artist elevates me as a teacher. I teach art history, drawing, painting, photography, ceramics, sculpture, animation, paper marbling, bookmaking, printmaking, and digital mediums. I aspire to travel and learn more about the world through art-making. Before working in Tokyo, I taught IB Visual Art in Nanjing, China. Before that, I taught Visual Art and Art History at Manassas High School in Memphis, Tennessee. I received my BFA with a minor in Art History from Memphis College of Art in 2013.
